Volunteer Opportunities

Our programs could not be successful without the help of many volunteers. I am looking for student and adult leaders for this year! Please take a look at the open positions below, and fill out the appropriate form if you feel called to serve.

Prior experience is not necessary (though it helps). All that is required is that you are a practicing Catholic with a love for teens (or a teen yourself). Training is provided.

Leadership Opportunities for high school students:

Faith & Service Leadership Team (one spot filled, seeking 3 boys, 4 girls)
These high school students lead the middle school ministry program, Faith & Service. We meet on the 1st Friday of each month (beginning October). Student leaders help the middle school students to participate in games, service activities, and small-group discussion questions. They may also act in skits and help plan service projects.
Time commitment: at least 4 Faith & Service nights, 1st Friday of the month October through June, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

High School Peer Leaders (seeking 3 boys, 3 girls)
Juniors and Seniors are eligible to serve as Student Leaders of the Wednesday night high school Youth Nights. Your role would be to help lead small-group discussions (topics/questions provided), and offer your ideas for activities throughout the year. Your role will expand with your experience.
Time commitment: weekly 6:30pm to 9pm on Wednesdays (as often as possible, notify Casey when you cannot attend)

Please click here for the Student Leader application.

Opportunities for adult volunteers:

Faith & Service CORE Team
Where 30 or 40 middle school students are gathered, there can be chaos! We have a lot of fun but I need the help of adults to assist in guiding students through activities, and prompting them to participate in small-group discussion. All information/guidance/training provided! Come once, twice, or to all nine Faith & Service nights! 5pm to 8pm on the 1st Friday of the month.

High School CORE Team
As we launch our weekly High School Youth Nights this year (Wednesday nights), I want to begin with a team of adults who can spend the time to get to know these students and walk with them on their journey of faith. Your role will be to hang out with us, help with retreats, and help to lead weekly discussion. Other roles may arise as I get to know you and your talents/passions! Come as often as you can, preferably at least once per month!

Please click here for the Youth Ministry CORE Team sign-up.

HS SOR Catechist or Aide
We are still awaiting the right number of students to create our high school SOR class, but once we do, we need a catechist! Class materials will be provided. I can help with curriculum planning, etc. as needed. Class time TBD once students register, but it will probably fall on Sunday evenings.

Please click here for the SOR Catechist/Aide volunteer form
