Sodality Altar Guild
Altar cleaning takes place every Thursday after 8:00 am Mass, unless times change due to funeral or Church Holy Days – Christmas, Easter, Holy Week. Each Unit should appoint one contact person to be responsible for the altar duty assignment schedule. Each Unit’s designated contact person should schedule at least two sodalists and one substitute for the time of duty, and should always plan to have a substitute in case of an unexpected change in plans – sickness, business travel, etc. Sodalists are expected to enter the work sacristy (to the left of the altar) at the conclusion of 8:00 am Mass. A member of the Altar Guild will meet workers and inform them of any special tasks for the day.
