Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is the glue that holds the Commission structure together. This is the body that makes certain that there is a clear mission and sense of purpose for the Parish Leadership. Part of the Pastoral Council’s role is to make certain all the Commissions are functioning well, have a good sense of their duties and responsibilities and are operating only within their prescribed area.

The Council’s agenda will vary depending on the time of the year, but generally will include such thingsas: developing a common theme for the year; assisting the Finance Council with budget priorities; developing and evaluating action plans; identifying and recruiting leadership people.
