Secret Santa Donations Due

Saturday, December 23, 2017

During the Advent season, most Catholics consider God’s gifts for which we are thankful! For many, it is family, friends, or good health. For others it may be ample food, employment, or a safe place to live.

The Social Concerns Office/Commission purchases grocery store gift cards for needy individuals and families at our Sister Parish/School, St. Thomas More, in Southeast Washington DC. Previous donations have helped less fortunate individuals and families with a Christmas meal, as well as helping those struggling with illness, unemployment, or other difficult circumstances.

Please consider offering assistance, by donating online here OR write a check payable to Blessed Sacrament memo “Secret Santa”. Checks may be delivered to the Duffy Parish Center, the School Office, or dropped into the Mass collection baskets by the deadline Saturday, December 23rd. Cash accepted in envelopes clearly labeled “Secret Santa.
