  • Sept 17th after the group attended Mass then went to Wolf Trap to see an Abba: The Tribute in concert. This extremely popular outing in Vienna VA would not have been possible without the support of the bus that Blessed Sacrament provides.
  • Sept 24th Star of the Sea Sodality hosted the Disabilities Ministry picnic. Dinner was catered by California Tortilla at the auditorium and then the gym was open for basketball. A great time was had by all.
  • October 22 the group went to Bowl America around 6 pm and the Star Diner.
  • November 12 Blessed Sacrament teen group saw the movie MegaMind at White Flint theaters and ate pizza Jerry's Subs/Pizza.
  • December 4th several members of the group participated in the Greg Gannon Canned Food Drive to help upload cars and reload the cans of food into the waiting cars and trucks of local food banks and charities.
  • December 10 Annie at the Olney Theater! Many thanks to the parish for their contribution to thank our leaders Christie Anne Short, Sharon Zatorski and Melissa Brinsfield. Parents are so grateful to our adult volunteers as well as the typical teens for providing friendship and respite every month.

Coordination of the teen group would not be possible without Francesca Pellegrino and Peg Kolm, the founders of the Disabilities Ministry.

Mary Ann Dawedeit manages emails and RSVP’s for the group. If you know of a family or teen that might be interested in joining, please email Mary Ann at .
